I am Federica.I live in Modena a city in the nord of Italy, maybe you could know Modena for Ferrari, Pavarotti and Aceto Balsamico. I am 24 years old, I graduated in law in February and I would like to become a judge. It is not easy describe myself in few lines but I try. I have a lot of interest like yoga, theatre, reading and swimming but the most important thing is that I love travel and meet new people from everypart of the world in order to keep an open mind.
So why an italian 24 years old girl is in Romania? I am here to participate to EVS, the European Voluntary Service. I has done voluntearing activities since 2000 in different fields: kids, old people and disabled people. Now I am an Amnesty International volunteer in my city and I am realy involved in the spread of human rights' culture. When I finished the university I had six free months in front of me therefore I decided to look for a long volunteer experience abroad and I applaied for the "Stakeholders in action" project.
And why in Romania? In Italy we have a lot of negative stereothipes about Romania even if we do not know anything about this country, so I tought that could be interesting come here in order to know how is Romania, learn a new culture, new language and new people.
